@ghostinthenet @mikrotik_com @reliancejio I agree, and I personally would prefer L2 isolation as well. I was actually looking into a solution for that using DHCP but without QinQ (which is PITA) for one of my peers, and I'm leaning towards the idea of L3 upto the OLT device. I'll let you know if I find something for this

@ghostinthenet @mikrotik_com PPPoE is common on older networks and large Telcos even here in Asia. In India, only one Telco/ISP did it right from day i.e. @reliancejio no <1500 MTU on their FTTH network with DHCP native, even for v6.
