  @BSNLCorporate @CMDBSNL No Network connectivity in #Santipur as BTS down for last 4 days. No initiative to repair. BSNL is now to put in showcase. No suitable staffs to maintain mobile network. 3rd class. Shame for BSNL. I draw attention of higher authorities to look into this.

  An unidentified man who climbed a BSNL tower in Siliguri was rescued after an eight-hour-long operation on Wednesday, September 2. Civil Defence team member Krishna Barman said the operation began at 7am and was challenging as the man climbed to the top of the tower and sat on a single rod without any railing or seating space. After repeated attempts to persuade him to come down failed, the rescue team used food to lure him lower.   only 2 telecom operators in India have the full coverage with 2 others barely in the competition. Time for BSNL to reposition itself as a the “Most Secure” network to attract back those for whom such security matters and charge premium. This way, it can go up one level and create a niche like Blackberry did with its mobile device.
